PATIENT RIGHTS - RIGHT TO ACCESS SERVICES
Every individual applying to our institution has the right to benefit from all services without discrimination based on language, religion, race, or sect.
Our patients have the right to be informed about the diagnostic and treatment opportunities provided by our institution and how to access these services.
INFORMATION AND CONSENT RIGHTS
Patients have the right to receive complete information in a language and method they can understand regarding the proposed medical interventions, including the potential risks or benefits of each intervention, alternatives to proposed interventions, and the entire process that will unfold if the treatment is not administered. Patients have the right to obtain a written copy of all their medical records if they submit their requests in writing. Except for medical and legal obligations, patients have the right to decide on the treatment to be applied after being informed about the serious risks of side effects, the risk of death, issues related to convalescence, and the chance of success. If the patient exercises this right, it is considered that they have given their consent to the procedures to be performed. Patients have the right to receive information about the correct assessment and treatment of pain. Patients and their families have the right to receive information about how they can donate organs and other tissues. Patients and their families have the right to receive information about their preferences for organ and tissue donation. Patients have the right to receive clear information about the mission of our institution.
RIGHT TO IDENTIFY AND CHANGE PERSONNEL
Patients have the right to know, choose, and change the identities, duties, and titles of the doctors, nurses, and other healthcare personnel responsible for their treatment.
RIGHT TO CHOOSE AND CHANGE THE HEALTHCARE INSTITUTION
Patients have the right to choose and change a healthcare institution in compliance with the procedures and conditions stipulated by the applicable legislation.
RIGHT TO REFUSE AND STOP TREATMENT
Patients have the right to refuse or request the cessation of the planned or administered treatment unless legally mandatory, and they are responsible for the potential negative consequences.
PRIVACY RIGHT
Patients have the right to receive services in an environment that respects privacy throughout the entire treatment process. The health status, condition, and all personal information of individuals applying to our hospital are kept confidential even after their deaths. Information about the patient can be disclosed at their request.
RIGHT TO RESPECT
Patients have the right to receive examination and treatment in a respectful, compassionate, and sincere environment, preserving their personal reputation at all times and under all circumstances.
CONSULTATION REQUEST RIGHT
If the patient accepts additional payment, they have the right to request consultation from a specialist in a different field at their own request.
SECOND OPINION RIGHT
Patients have the right to obtain information about their health status from another physician working in the same field as the one providing treatment.
RIGHT TO PERFORM RELIGIOUS DUTIES
Patients have the right to freely perform their religious duties regardless of their religious differences, as long as it does not hinder treatment.
SAFETY RIGHT
Everyone has the right to expect and demand to be safe in a healthcare institution. Necessary precautions are taken by our institution to protect the life and property safety of patients, visitors, attendants, etc. Appropriate protection measures have been taken for children, disabled individuals, and the elderly (alone, in need of care, unaccompanied) in our institution.
RIGHT TO RECEIVE VISITORS AND HAVE ATTENDANTS
Patients have the right to accept visitors and have attendants in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by our institution.
COMPLAINTS/OPINIONS AND SUGGESTIONS REPORTING RIGHT
Patients and their families have the right to initiate, investigate, conclude, and be informed about the outcome of the complaint mechanism in our hospital in case of violation of patient rights.
HEALTHCARE INSTITUTION RULES AND PRACTICES
Patients have the right to receive information about the institutional rules and practices that will be applied to them.
EXAMINATION AND TREATMENT COSTS
Patients have the right to learn about the pre-treatment service fees and request and receive a clear and detailed invoice for the fees paid for the services received later.
PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCURATE INFORMATION TRANSFER: Patients are obliged to provide full and accurate information about their health to doctors and nurses responsible for providing medical services.
ADHERENCE TO TREATMENT PLAN: Patients are obliged to adhere to the treatment plan recommended by the responsible doctor and acknowledge that they comply with the care plan in accordance with the instructions of the relevant healthcare personnel.
REFUSAL OF PLANNED TREATMENT: Patients are responsible for the consequences of refusing treatments planned by doctors.
COMPLIANCE WITH RULES OF CONDUCT: Patients are obliged to comply with the precautions and rules of the hospital in situations that may endanger patients and their relatives, such as noise, visitors, and smoke. Patients are required to comply with all rules and practices of our healthcare institution.
INFECTION CONTROL: Patients and their relatives are responsible for being sensitive to all recommended measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
PAYMENT RESPONSIBILITY: Patients are obliged to pay for examination and treatment costs. Patients and their relatives who intentionally damage fixed and consumable materials are obliged to pay for the damage.
PATIENT VISITATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: It is the responsibility of patients to accept as few visitors as possible, not to use the belongings of other patients, not to bring food and drinks to visitors, and to adhere to hospital visiting hours.
